Ella has decided to be one of those babies that falls asleep randomly while eating lunch. Brian has been the only one to actually catch her in the act and if you know my husband, you know there was a camera near by to record the event. Once he works on the video to make it smaller, we will post it so you can have a good laugh. I just have to tell you, it is the funniest thing when she grabs a piece of food, shoves it in her mouth, begins to chew on it and then....off to sleep! Her little head bobs around so hard that she wakes herself up, but only for a moment, then its back to slumber land. Brian will finally intervene once she has bobbed her head so hard that she wakes up crying, then he will turn the camera off and lay her down. Soooo funny!
We went to Fort Collins yesterday to take Brian to class and visit my grandparents. We used to take Kellan over to their house almost every day because we lived across the street from them. Now it's more like once every month or so. Our time with them is precious and we love to play and catch up. I left the kids with 'Papa' so I could pick Brian up from class and while I was gone he received a phone call. You mom's know what happens whenever the phone rings. Suddenly, big events happen and you have to end your phone call. Anyway, a lady from his church called and as they were talking Ella climbed up on a table to grab something that Kellan wanted and the war began. Poor grandpa had to prematurely end his conversation to break up the madness.
I am anxiously packing up our things and getting ready for our big move next week. We are so excited to move! My parents and little sister are coming up to help us and we will also have some help from Brian's parents and my grandparents. I can't wait. We close on Friday the 14th and I am pretty sure we will show up to our closing with our car packed full of stuff. I've had dreams of planting a garden, painting, yard work, shoveling snow...all of the things I have wanted to do for so long to a place of our own. Kellan is excited too. He keeps asking people that we come across 'do you want to see my house?' He has been such a big help with packing and he constantly thanks me for letting him help. His favorite part is wrapping the dishes. Ella sits this one out!
Brian is taking a test today in one of his programming classes. He is so smart. For Valentines Day, he programmed something for me in the computer. I had to answer a few questions and then up popped my card. How fun is that? One of the guys in his class said that they purposely make the tests so long that they can't finish them in the given amount of time. Then the set a ridiculous curve so that your 'D' becomes a 'B'. This is Brian's first programming test...its a big deal.
I will try to get more regular on my updates. Have a great week everyone!
