Cars cars cars!

We need a car! Wooohooo, we sold our Mazda and we are one step closer to being completely debt free...except for this enormous house we just bought, but, no more car payments. So, we are looking for a reliable, automobile that we can pay cash for. If you have any ideas or know of someone who is looking to sell their car, please let us know.

We are loving summer time, and that is why I am never on here posting blogs. Brian is out of summer school and we seem to have a good three nights together a week. We are getting so much out of our time together. Lately we have been taking long bike rides (really long bike rides) to the lake and to get ice cream. On Tuesday we even stopped at the fireworks tent so Brian and Kellan could pick out some fun fireworks. The lady told Kellan about this fountain called "Purple Rain," and Kellan yelled across the tent to Brian, "hey Dad, its like your favorite song!" I just cracked up laughing. Brian has been playing Prince music at home lately (he gets on these kicks with his music, and I think he knows how much I don't like Prince, so he plays it thinking the more times I hear it maybe I will start to like it) and he taught Kellan how to sing the chorus to "Purple Rain." Its pretty funny to hear him sing it.

Ella has been busy growing hair. I tell her this everyday, "Ella, your job is to grow some hair," she just looks at me and then grabs a handful of her hair and says, "here you go." She is also making attempts to memorize scripture verses we use to teach the alphabet. This last one was Galations 5:22 "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control." I am shocked each time I put a new one up and think to myself, "this is going to be too long for them," and then, within a few days Kellan will have most of it memorized and Ella pulls out over half of it! They amaze me daily.

We are counting down the days until we leave on our vacation. My parents graciously gave us their time share and we can hardly wait to skip town the end of July. We are driving to Palm Springs and along the way we will stop at Disney Land and to see some of my family in California! This will be our first official family vacation and it couldn't be more perfect. We are so excited!
