So, I saw the beginnings of my favorite season today...yellow leaves on one of our trees! I love Fall and I absolutely cannot wait for the fun change in weather it brings. The colors of the landscape and the wonders of God's beautiful creation!
Brian is back in school. Its kind of funny preparing him for the semester and at the same time buying school supplies for Kellan's first quarter of pre-school. We decided to enroll Kellan for two days a week (2 hours a day) at a local community pre-school. Its parent led and directed and that means I get to help out in his classes as often as I want. He starts next week and I am terrified to let him go. It will be a huge milestone for all of us. I have never even left him with a babysitter (besides family members) much less in school for two hours. Lord help me.
We have new neighbors finally! They are moving in as I write and I can't wait to meet them. Our block has been boring to say the least. We have zero, I truly mean that, zero communication with any of our neighbors. We have made attempts but they have come up fruitless. Its ok, I understand people are retired, or working a lot, or have other things to do besides chit chat with me. I'm hoping for some action from the newbies on the block. Maybe our two houses can be the outgoing of the six on the block. I'll keep you posted.
We are doing well around here. I just finished sealing our counter tops today. I felt like something special, waltzing around the Home Depot, buying all of my supplies! I love being a homeowner, but $17 later, I had only three items in my cart. I can buy three shirts for that at Kohls! Oh well, clean counters are the reward.
