In the year 1980, Hewlett-Packard announced its release of the first personal computer, CNN (Cable News Network) began broadcasting, The President of United Airlines was injured by an exploding package sent by the Unabomber, The United States Air Force revealed it had a stealth plane, Paul McCartney released “Temporary Secretary,” The Philadelphia Phillies won their first World Series, The Republican Challenger, Ronald Reagan defeated incumbent Democrat Jimmy Carter for the Presidential seat by a wide margin, Mark David Chapman murdered John Lennon, and a sweet, tiny bundle of joy was delivered to Terry and Jeanne Pettit of Loveland Colorado.
A bundle of joy whose life would touch the lives of so many; Brian David Pettit, born November 9th, 1980 in Loveland Colorado at McKee Hospital, the same hospital in which his third child would be born 28 years 363 days later.
We all know we are here for a reason. Many of us are still searching for that reason. We can’t be here by coincidence; we each have a purpose and that purpose is divine. Brian’s purpose is clear to him and I see him live for that purpose every day. I am so thankful that I have been able to share 27% of Brian’s life with him. We haven’t missed even one day of talking in that short period of time and I enjoy most of our conversations J We have shared many life changing events together and I have included some pictures to document a few of them.
