Kellan, Ella and I made our daily run to the park yesterday and I realized how amazingly fast Kellan is. We were running through the grassy area when all of a sudden he decided to chase me. No big deal, of course I can out run him. Well, Ella wanted in on this event as well, so I picked her up and continued running. Apparently, the additional 25 pounds of Ella really slowed me down. I found it extremely hard to keep Kellan from catching me! Good times.
We are having our first dinner guests over this week and I am so excited. This year has been a crazy one and we haven't given too much of our time to others. We generally soak up all of the time we have together with just the four of us. It has truly been wonderful, focusing completely on family! The only problem with this is, my family could care less what the table looks like when dinner is served, or for that matter, what the food tastes like. I have to teach myself how to entertain again! I am also hosting my soon to be sister in law's bridal shower here in a few weeks. I am so excited about this too. I just love having parties and planning them, and now I have a place to do that. Once again, we are realizing daily, how blessed we are to have our home. Here are a few recent pictures of the kiddos:
