Kristen Graduated!

My grandparents, the kids and myself made a quick trip to Colorado Springs yesterday to watch my little sister graduate from the 8th grade. Its sort of funny to me that they do these graduations, but at the same time, I remember mine, so it must be a big deal! My dad was telling me that we have come a long way because when he went on to high school, they didn't do a ceremony at all. I can remember the ceremony, the song they played and even going out to the Olive Garden afterwards with my family...and getting a $75 check! Kristen had a lot of fun and so did Ella...running up and down the halls of my old high school. Kellan sat in the gymnasium for nearly the whole thing! I was very impressed. Kristen was recognized for several different achievements, but the one that stands out the most and makes me the most proud is her recognition by the principal for her grades....All A's! She is amazing and so smart. We wish her well as she makes her way into high school. Love you sweet girl!
