Nebraska

We made our annual trip to Nebraska this past weekend and the kids had so much fun running around the farms and playing at Grandad's house. We found a turtle and named him Bob. He was the highlight of one of our evenings. The kids watched him try to escape the yard several times and just as he would make it to the edge we would pick him up and move him just to watch him try to leave again. No worries...we realeased him when we were finished messing with his head a bit! Kellan drove several tractors and we think by this time next year he may be able to reach the gas and brake pedals by himself...scary! We didn't see too many cattle as they were in the big pasture this year, but we did see some wild turkey's, Rupert and Bluey (the cats), and of course, Bob the turtle. Kellan and Ella rode on the 4 wheeler and here is a picture of them together before riding. Hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend.
